My name is Angela and I’m the broker of Avalon Park Lease, Inc. My career in property management began in 2001 and by 2003 I started by own firm. Property management is an area of real estate that many brokers are not willing to explore because of how challenging the work is however I have found it to be my passion. I enjoy meeting investors and sharing my industry expertise with them. I love walking thru properties with potential tenants asking them qualifying questions to determine if the property is a good fit for their family’s needs.
In 2010, while growing my firm, I returned to the University of Central Florida to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate. It was the first year UCF offered a Real Estate degree and I jumped at the chance to educate myself further. My property management firm continued to be a success renting thousands of properties just in the east Orlando area.
Over the years, I’ve managed residential long term properties, residential short term properties and commercial properties. I was the leasing administrator for the county commissioner and managed over a half a million dollars in commercial real estate just in Winter Park, FL.
In 2017, and after 14 years of success, I sold my firm. This was one of the biggest decisions I had ever made. It was a firm I created, grew to be successful and sold at its peak. It was always hard work and long hours but I feel blessed to have had the opportunity be a part of a phenomenal firm and serve so many people.
I took a brief reprieve to focus on other passions of mine one of which is the critical problem of affordable housing in central Florida. I started a faith based non profit that assists in providing basic needs to the homeless community along with resources that are available. I also began my work as a volunteer Seminole county court appointed child advocate. Simultaneously, I remained working on several boards and committees.
Post my reprieve, I accepted a position as a Hedge Fund Manager with an out of state capital investment firm. I opened their central, FL portfolio which included locating and negotiating off market investments and overseeing the construction needs in preparation for leasing. The portfolio became high volume closing thirty plus properties per month.
Present day, Joe Stout and I started Avalon Park Lease, Inc. because we wanted to create a hybrid option for clients. Joe was the original real estate sales broker in Avalon Park (2003) and I was the original real estate property manager/broker (2003). We are experienced and knowledgeable in our areas of expertise and collaborating as a team provides our clients with the most comprehensive and streamlined of services. Times have evolved and we have modernized the entire leasing process putting landlords and tenants at ease.
